WATER METERS FOR ALL PARK HOMES

LINK ALSO AT THE FOOT OF THIS INTRO >>

The petition we raised on all Park Home owners behalf was formally presented to the House of Commons on 12th July 2022 by South East Cornwall MP, Sheryll Murray.

The petition, which remains open, asks the House of Commons to support the free installation of water meters for ALL residential Park Homes on protected sites and needs the active support of ALL park home residents, whether already metered or not.

Water companies already provide meters free of charge to mainstream housing and there is usually no reason for them to decline installations on Park Home estates, other that the avoidance's of costs that benefit their own shareholders, whilst governments have a responsibility to ensure that everyone is treated equally.

Hopefully, in due course, this move will bring a halt to the malpractices and overcharges engaged by some operators, including the passing on their own wasted water costs to their un-metered residents.
