Did You Know ? .....

....that in January 2026, the British Holiday and Home Parks Association (BH&HPA) rebranded to the  Holiday and Residential Parks Association ( HARPA )

As the Park Owners main trade body (and somewhat extraordinarily ) the public point of contact for the currently defunct APPG for Park Homes, it explains that this move was `better reflect a modern and diverse park industry `- where the change aims to be more inclusive and accurately represent both holiday and residential sectors, sooffering a more distinctive and easily identifiable identity.

OR could it possibly be due to the uplift in the marketing of what`s called the similarly named Park Home & Holiday Park Association  ( PHHPA ) who`s director General, Bradley Chapman, proudly explains that he mentored and coached Alfie Best, when together they went on a journey of business and personal growth.

Actually I don`t think any of this really matters to any of us. The BH&HPA has seemingly done nothing to help clean up the industry it seeks to represent, whilst the PHHPA may or may not perform any better.

One the other hand, perhaps the PHHPA had simply noted the numbers in the BH&HPA`S October 2025 accounts, which show a positive balance of some £4.46 million.
